My involvement with Amwriting.org is nothing but a twist of fate, a very fortunate twist of fate. Clichéd, I know, but spot on.
Having worked in the corporate sector for over five years, I have gathered a rough idea of what I do NOT want to be doing for the rest of my life. I loathe the ordinary, the mundane. Ergo, I have said goodbye to the pecuniary world for good. I do not intend to go back there. Ever. Of course, that little endeavor of mine also helped me in getting a fair idea about what I really did want to be doing with the rest of my life, no matter how arduous it might become! And thus began my journey of self-discovery.
Amwriting.org managed to grab my attention almost naturally, quite possibly because of its inherent focus on literature and art; things which are very conveniently (and unfortunately) ignored by many these days. Frankly speaking, I am extremely delighted to be a component of this splendid writing adventure; almost ecstatic! It provides me with an unyielding platform to express myself, in any way that I want.
Although I have mainly been doing leisurely writing up till now, I do intend to gradually venture into fiction with time, my primary interest. Perhaps though, it suffices to say that I have decided to connect with this platform because it just makes me immeasurably happy!
Oh and also, I strongly believe that my being associated with it shall be the end of my procrastination. At last!
