Sometimes it seems like my life is a never ending series of empty white text boxes.



I am a writer, always have been, and the expanse of blank space is both a thrill and a challenge for me. My life as an adult with attention deficit disorder, and a mother with too many eggs in too many baskets, has been a roller coaster ride of epic proportions.

 
I write fiction for fun and blogs for relief and news stories out of a sense of responsibility for the world. Ideally, I'd love to be a columnist. Raising two boys and struggling to keep our home in the bleakest economic times since the great depression hasn't left me much time to myself, or to pursue my muse. I just finished my bachelor's degree in Journalism, and I'm moving on to Grad school in August 2012 -but this one summer of my life is for writing.

My interests are gaming (tabletop RPG, video and board games), parenting, pagan spirituality, science fiction/fantasy, horror,  progressive politics and the Rockford, IL metro region. I hope to engage others on these topics and get constructive feedback on what I'm doing, and how I'm doing it. Thanks for checking me out!
