Hello,
I'm a sixteen year old, Teen author, currently in the process of writing my first Young Adult Dystopian novel (around 40,000 words so far). I'm from Coventry, UK and I've chosen a strange age to start trying to write a book, but I'll have finished it in less than 3 months time. I generally love writing, sports and computers and most of all, vast quantities of chocolate!!! Everything I write is in first person, purely because I feel that it's the best way to interact properly with the reader and I generally find it more entertaining. I've read hundreds of Dystopian novels throughout my (relatively) short life and I've loved every single one, which is why I've picked this as my first genre to write in. It also helps that the main characters of my book are around the same age as me as I can assume what their reactions would be more accurately than someone who lived through their teen-ages years ago.
