Natalie Bowers

Natalie Bowers is a fledgling writer and perpetual student who lives in Hampshire with her husband and two children. A gregarious loner and shameless eavesdropper, she can often be found haunting the dark recesses of coffee shops and cafes, her pencil poised above paper.

When she’s not being a cliché, Natalie flits between her other hobbies, which include – but are definitely not limited to – reading, walking, working-out, BookCrossing, Geocaching and photography, as well as volunteering at her local library, school and church. She also – to the unending amusement of her family and friends – plays the ukulele.

Her short stories have appeared in Debut and Scribble magazines, and her flash-fiction has been published by Ether Books. She blogs at A Butterfly Mind. Details of her latest project can be found at 1000words.

Editorial note:  Natalie is also an amazing photographer.  She let me choose a photo from her Flickr stream for this post and I picked this one of her daughter.  Her photography, including this photo, can be found on Flickr.
