Heidi C. Vlach

Heidi is a chef training graduate from northern Ontario, Canada. She is currently writing the stories of Aligare, a series of fantasy novels and novelettes set in a positive-themed society of dragon, insect and weasel people. Heidi believes that non-humans can be more than just "talking animals", and that a peaceful social structure doesn't necessarily mean everything is cutesy and perfect. She is using the freedom of self-publishing to write the books she has never been able to find on shelves.
