Maria S McDonald

Maria S McDonald was born in Jakarta, Indonesia and migrated to Brisbane, Australia at the age of 15 due to the rising political unrest between native Indonesians and Chinese Indonesians that was getting worse each year, not only in Jakarta, but in other capital cities of Indonesia.
She works as a Secretary to multiple Area Supervisors for an education-based company, responsible for preparing general correspondence on their behalf, minute-taking of several steering committees, liaising with school principals, taking complaint phone calls from parents and other stakeholders, and organising cluster meetings at various function centres.
In late 2006, Maria decides to pick up a pen and paper to write down a vivid dream that wouldn’t leave her head. By Saturday evening of the same week, she has written in excess of 15,000 words – by far the longest essay she has voluntarily written since her University days.
Whilst each novel is different, and the character has many forms, the major factors tying all the novels in common are:
1. A lead heroine.
2. Said female character facing a major adversity in her life.
3. Details of trials and tribulations as she works through and overcome said adversity.
Fast forward 5 years later, she has completed 6 unpublished novels, is still working full-time, and continues having a love affair with pen and paper.
Maria is married, and has a beautiful, ageing Jack Russell dog named 'Sasha'.
