I'm On NaNoWriMo
Well hi, I'm Ileandra Young.
Its not the name on my birth certificate, but it is the name I write under and it is the name that more and more people are starting to connect with the artist's persona. Which is lovely!
I'm 27 years old and I've been writing for a good 15 of those years. I started through play-by-chat RPGs on what used to be the Lycos Chatrooms before they shut and then moved onto play-by-post games on the MSNGroups forums. They're also closed now *sniffle* but I've never forgotten what I learned there, and the love of story telling has chased me through my teenage years into adulthood.
I have moved on since then. I started writing what I used to call 'long stories' at about 14 years old and I've enjoyed it so much that I've kept going. Recently I've branched into short stories, flash fiction and micro fiction, but my first and truest love will always be for the novel.
I write fantasy, horror, vamp-fiction and the occasional smut-piece and am working hard to see my words in print. My blog tells the story of the journey so far and links to other aspects of me as a creative, including my radio show.
WIPs include last years NaNoWriMo project called Clash Of The Animal Kings and part one of my vamp-fic triology which begins with Silk Over Razor Blades.
