Ben Sower
Born and brightened in Appalachia, Ben's family moved a dozen times in his first sixteen years. Aside from a brief stint in south Florida, though, all the moves simply explored another creekbed, another rolling field in the western Carolinas.
Ben received degrees in Operations Research, Statistics, and Law, and has worked primarily as counsel and operations director for closely held corporations. He did venture into government policy work and private law practice for a little while, finding that those intruded too much upon his writing time.
Ben has lived in the Carolinas most of his life, but enjoyed the time spent in south Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, and Texas.
Ben's current work has him spending most of his time in Greenville, SC, and Knoxville, TN. He is thankful to kick off his shoes halfway between, in Brevard, NC.
