Charlie & Diane Winger are co-authors of several outdoor recreation guidebooks, and most recently ventured into self-publishing with Charlie's surprising and inspiring autobiography.
Charlie is a prolific mountaineer with a passion for climbing peaks throughout the world. Diane takes a more relaxed approach to hiking and rock climbing, and places a high priority on hiking on trails. She is a semi-retired freelance proofreader and is very involved with community volunteer work through Altrusa.
Charlie climbs. Almost all the time. When not climbing, he is usually found doing volunteer trail work near home in Colorado.
