Kristina L. Martin
I have been a storyteller for as long as I can remember. Thankfully, fashions have changed since the late 60s and I am no longer tempted to perform clad in only clear vinyl raincoats and galoshes. However, that doesn't mean my stories are any less revealing. They simply reveal different things these days.Giving life to the stories in my head/heart became an active part of my daily life a few years ago when I started blogging and then became a professional stand-up comic. My writing evolved from "just a blogger" to an essayist and now novelist. My first novel, a young adult historical, is being polished into a query-ready gem. And because there are many, many voices in my head, I've started my second young adult novel -- a contemporary thriller.
My first ever submitted piece, A Single Square of Christmas, was published by Gadling. My blog, Ten Minute Missive, is updated on Mondays and Fridays and you can find me most days over at Twitter as @quickmissive.
