Kevin Hoffman has grown up writing. He started when he was ten, taking his mother's old Smith Corona typewriter (you know, those word processors you didn't have to plug into a wall!) and hammering out (literally) story after story of science fiction, fantasy, and contemporary thriller. Apparently unable to detach himself from a keyboard, Kevin has also been writing computer software since he was 10 years old. He has presented at Apple's Worldwide Developer's Conference on iPhone development, guest lectured at Columbia University, and is the author or co-author of over 16 books on various aspects of computer programming.
Writing software is what he does to pay the bills while he writes short stories and is currently working on his second full-length novel. His first published short story was a near-future, cyberpunk zombie thriller entitled, "On the Rocks".
