Suzan Butler writes contemporary young adult fiction about spies and currently lives in Texas under a not-so-secret identity (Suzan Isik) where her cover story is that she is a freelance editor for fiction writers. She loves language, too, which is why when she finishes her BA in Creative Writing this fall, she’ll be pursuing a Linguistics degree. Words are fun, and it’s easier to make up codes and write secret messages if she understands them better.
