Sophie Perinot
Sophie Perinot writes historical fiction. In the Spring of 2012 her debut novel -- a tale of two sisters who also happen to be 13th Century Queens -- will be released by NAL (New American Library). The book will be titled The Sister Queens.
Ms. Perinot has both a BA in History and a law degree. After practicing complex litagation with a large Washinton Law firm, she left the law to pursue artistic interests including writing. An avid reader and life-long student of history it seemed only natural that Sophie should write historical fiction. As someone who studied French abroad and a hopeless devotee of Aleandre Dumas, French history was a logical starting point.
