Hello #amwriting, folks! You may have seen me lurking around #amwriting as RobertMcKay from time to time when my life was more accommodating and you'll be seeing me there a lot more in a couple of weeks. Why is that you ask?

Because as of Memorial Day (5-30-11) I am quitting my job and setting off with my wife Faith and our beloved bunny Dorian to travel the world as vagabonds. We've already sold most of our stuff so we will be true nomads. We don't plan on settling down in one place any time in the next few years. While we explore strange and exotic places I'm planning to learn a few new languages, read a bunch of books, and teach myself to play the ukulele. Now, as if all that weren't enough I will also be dedicating a good portion of my time to my one true love, writing sci-fi and fantasy.
