Charles R. Hale

Charles R. Hale began a family research project ten years ago.  Soon it became apparent that his objective was to uncover the untold and unrecorded stories of his ancestors in an effort to understand how their stories are who he has become. After ten years of research he learned that not only is he the product of all the stories he's heard and lived, but he's also discovered that his ancestors’ stories, those that were untold and unrecorded, have had a profound impact on his life, as well.

Charles posts stories daily on his blog Stories Connect Love Heals.  His subjects include family history, storytelling, creative non-fiction and humor.  Charles has been published in a number of small literary journals and is putting the finishing touches on a book of stories, which will be published this summer.
