I write music reviews for my own website and for RootsWorld, an online magazine of music, art, and culture. I've reviewed  music from Ethiopia, Tunisia, Norway, Brazil, and many other countries representing a number of different ethnic backgrounds and cultures. My goals are to help readers discover new artists who are making great music and to promote world music as a way to build friendships that rise above political boundaries.
