I'm a  Kentucky Lady displaced in Ohio, a new grandmother(He is the absolute cutest thing in the whole damn universe, IMHO) and I have a boring 9-5 job that I do just to pay the mortgage on a house I love. I write... and write...and write as much as I possibly can and have ever since I was in grammar school.  Recently I’ve had two "fun"articles published in an online magazine  MORE and  I try to add to my  grandma-friendly blog thenewgrannydiaries.blogspot.com every now and again. I’m currently working on a paranormal thriller novel that my 85 yr old mother is sure will send me to Hell.  I am a classically trained musician and sang opera for years in Europe before returning to the US and a “normal” life.  I married the love of my life on my second go around (my first was a disaster but that is another sordid story) and even though he passed away four years ago, he still sits on my shoulder and cheers me on as I write.  I humbly bow to the talent (and marketability) of Stephen King, J R Ward, Jacquelyn Frank, Dan Brown, Brent Monahan, Edgar Allen Poe, Clive Barker,  JK Rowling and of course, Anne Rice.

My personal philosophy is:  I will write, and write, and write until someone will bloody well want to read it!
