John Zeleznik is a doting father, loving husband, loyal dog owner and dedicated high school English teacher from Upstate New York. Way Upstate New York. Much like Henry Hill knew he always wanted to be a gangster, John knew he wanted to be a writer. From creating Star Wars adventures and the special missions for GI Joes to writing bad Gor and Drizzt pastiches, he eventually graduated to melodramatic contemporary stories about the trails and tribulations of grocery store workers. It wasn’t until he finished his studies at SUNY Oswego with a degree in public relations and he first purchased George RR Martin’s A Game of Thrones that it all changed. John poured himself back into the fantasies he loved as a youth.
He is presently at work on several projects while his YA fantasy, Winter’s Discord, is under submission with several agents and one editor.
John, also a graduate of LeMoyne College, now teaches full time while balancing being a parent and writer.
