I am a bilingual writer from Sri Lanka, writing in English and Sinhala (our native language)

I won the State Literary Award for the Best English Novel twice (the only Sri Lankan writer to do so) "katbith" 1998 and "Eavesdropper" 2007.

"The Saadhu Testament is the first e-novel from Asia.

"Vessan Novu Vedun" is the first Sinhala e-novel.

I was also short listed (2007) for the Swarna Pusthaka Award organized by the Book Publishers Association in Sri Lanka for the best Sinhala Novel.
