I love to write.  I have always loved to write. Yet, I have never held a job where my writing could really shine. After leaving the corporate world in 2009, I decided it was time to pursue a career that I want. Using my life experiences to guide me, I picked up a pen and embarked on a new journey. First, I created a blog to journal the lessons I am learning along the way. Next, I opened an account on Associated Content to publish some of my ideas in articles.

In the past, I have been a waitress, telemarketer, day care teacher's assistant, billing consultant and project manager. My favorite jobs have been lifetime roles as wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, friend, confidant and advice giver.

A few years ago, I scratched out some ideas for a self-help book.  People have often asked me for advice and just as often it has been appreciated, so my wheels began to turn. Now with more time on my hands, I am hoping to turn my ideas into a solution for people to find happiness the way I have. My work-in-progress is up to about one-fifth of the way complete. With the resources that I am constantly soaking up, I have started my quest for possible agents and completing a proposal.
