Mark Lucherini is a soon-to-be 30-year-old (and ye gods is he ever dreading that) writer who currently lives in Ohio with his wife of five years, as well as his dog and cat, who he dotes on like children. And no, he doesn't care who knows that.
He has only lived in Ohio, and, in fact, the United States for five years, moving here from Ireland. Only after meeting his wife-to-be in an online game, where he threatened to kill someone's avatar, only to be invited into a guild, of course.
He currently stays at home all day, looking for a job, drinking far too much coffee, smoking too much, and writing more than he's ever written before. His unemployment has yielded one complete, published book, which was the book he thought he should write, Tears of a Child. Tears of a Child is a Noir Detective story with Sci Fi elements, a character-driven story about detectives solving a heinous crime. However, unhappy with the restrictions of writing seriously, Mark has now decided to write the type of book he can write, resulting in a second book, the first draft of which was completed in two weeks and is now being edited.
You can usually find Mark spending far too much time playing video games, or, if it's a Friday, drinking a little more than he strictly should.
