As a freelance parenting journalist, Michelle Sussman had more than 100 articles published in the last five years – all while being a stay-at-home mom. She hopes to translate that success to a new career in YA fantasy fiction. Her blog, Reading and Writing by Candlelight (michellesussman.blogspot.com) has received thousands of hits since its inception in 2009 as she strives to help people begin a freelance career and shares her experiences along the path to becoming a published novelist.
