Michelle Phillips is a 5th grade teacher and writer of picture books, middle grade fiction, and adult fiction.  Her writing spans a range of fantasy (think super heroes to talking animals) and real-life school experiences (adapted from her own life and the antics of her students).  She also has an adult fiction novel based on her college sorority experience.

She is an avid reader of all things middle grade and young adult, and tries to alternate an adult novel with a novel she can recommend to her students.  Michelle has a Masters degree in Reading Education and considers it a personal mission to turn every child she teaches into a reader.
