Jerry Banks is the author of the Barry O’Shea mystery series, the first book of which, Secret Agenda, was published in 2009. He is a retired trial lawyer with over 40 years of experience, which lends the series their characteristic authenticity mixed with a healthy dose of intrigue. He has always read mysteries, and after retiring, decided that he had to try writing at least once. And he didn’t quite leave the law behind; he just found a new way of making it work for him and his clients…uhh…characters. Jerry still remains active in law and court news. Between enjoying time with family and friends, Jerry is working on his next book in the Barry O’Shea series, The Second District.
He hosts a writer’s group on Facebook called Writing for Seniors.
