I am an aspiring author, blogger, wife and mother.
I describe myself as an all round good egg with dark edges, which works well for the genre of novel I write.
I am currently writing a psychological thriller called Dark Edges - working title. I have written two novels in contemporary women's fiction, but my characters and subject matter were really too dark for the genre.
I have been published in a professional capacity in the British Journal of Learning Disability, the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine, the Nursing Times, cited in a DOH document and the Community Nurse magazine.
My life has entailed living in the south of France for six years, working as a community nurse in Surrey and London, and working as mental health forensic nurse in a Youth Offending Team. Some of my experiences seep into my novels, especially the darker ones.
