As the descendant of a civil war scythe-murderer, I suppose I have murder in the blood. While I have been known to kill an insect or two when provoked, thankfully my own interest in murder is only paper-deep.
I write crime fiction and historical mysteries in a variety of time periods--the Middle Ages, early America, the 18th century, and the Great Depression. My flash fiction and short stories have appeared in Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine and elsewhere. Currently, my historical mystery short story “Warpath” set in the wilderness of Colonial New York among the Mahican and Mohawk is available in the anthology Adirondack Mysteries: And Other Mountain Tales through North Country Press, Amazon, and the Amwriters Store. I’m seeking representation for a historical mystery novel, A Disobedient Death, set in medieval Russia.
